About

By trade, I’m a historian of early modern Britain and a digital historian, and I’ve been project manager and researcher on several large digital history projects.

I like playing with datasets, wrangling messy data and writing terrible code. This blog is a playground and a resource, where I want to bring together digital history and data science while working on better code (mostly R).
